The East
Fishkill police Department consists of a highly trained
staff of 26 sworn officers and 11 civilians. The Town of East
Fishkill has a population of approximately
28,000 residents. The department covers over 50 square miles of land
and 180 miles of state, county and town roads. The Police Department
promotes community policing. In 1992, the New York State Division of
Criminal Justice Services recognized the East Fishkill Police
Department as a fully accredited agency. The Department continues to
maintain accreditation status.

and East Fishkill Police Assistants dispatch calls. The Police
Department provides emergency and routine services 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. The department also conducts criminal investigations and
presents community programs such as School Resource Officers, Drug
Resistance Education, and Community Lectures.
